What we offer our alumni
By graduating through Christie’s Education London or New York you are
automatically part of an international alumni organisation. The Alumni Association
exists in order to support and encourage the career development of its graduates.
We do this through continuing to nurture your interest in the study of the arts, and
helping you to develop your professional experience in the art world. In order to do
this we rely on students internationally to maintain contact with us and with each
other and to use the alumni portal as a facilitator in this process. By participating
in annual events concerned with the professional development of current students
and by fundraising towards the Scholarship Fund, alumni ensure that new talent
is nurtured from as wide a spectrum of international students as possible.

Testimonials
London
“I feel very strongly that this program is unique within the art world, as it is both academically rigorous and practice oriented…This is a vitally important program for intellectual and practical training. ”
Alexandra Palmer

"One of the things I love most about the Christie’s Education course was that it had a very tactile approach to objects. We visited Christies all the time to get to know the objects and the specialists that were working in them."
Andreas Pampoulides

London, 1999-2000
“I’d been practicing law for sixteen years and I decided that Christie’s would give me the opportunity to make a mid career change. I am very, very, happy to have undertaken this course. It’s provided me with a valuable set of skills and I can’t recommend it enough.”
Albert Zecher

“I’m now in the European furniture department at Christie’s and have a dream job, working with the objects that I enjoy and traveling Europe, finding furniture and objects for sale here in London.”
Marcus Radecke

“I applied for one course only, the fine and decorative arts course at Christies Education. I knew that the hands on experience would help me with my future career and indeed those are the skills I use every day in my job as a junior specialist.”

“Christie's differs from other programs I've been involved in through its "hands-on" approach. The highlight of the course was going to the conservation room at MOMA. I got to see Picasso's Desmoiselles de Avignon front and back. I even got to touch it! ”
Nicola Trent

New York, 2003-2004
“Christie's Education gave me a career path. I worked in the auction house as my internship before deciding that I wanted to get into art advisory. I have so many contacts in the art world because of CE. ”
Nicola Trent

"Being able to go behind the scenes at some of the world's foremost museums was really exciting. I particularly remember the Museum of Modern Art's conservation center where a Jeff Koons and Cézanne pieces were being examined."
Sara Hardy

"I had interviewed and applied to other similar graduate programs and Christie's just felt right. Not only was there a welcoming feel but everyone there was passionate about art. "
